Introduction:
Presenting, the 100% almost custom game: Retarded Online xD -- the game that will give Eclipse a bad name!

Everything is custom; graphics are made with ms-paint (maps, gui, etc) and sounds/music has some customs in it, etc...

The whole game is meant to be extremely retarded, and well... it's going to overall suck once it's done.

The game may or may not be worth playing (probably NOT)...
The point of RO
The entire point of the game is to be probably one of the worst Eclipse-Made games...
It is suppose to be an example of everything an Eclipse game shouldn’t be!
If you get past the maps, and the graphics, and the music, and the lack of storyline, and the unbalanced teams, and the painful leveling, and the in-game spelling errors, it may be somewhat bearable to play....
But I'm taking EVERY aspect into consideration... I'm doing exactly what people say NOT to do when making a game.... It's a massive experiment to see if I can truly make the WORST game in Eclipse!

Q: Is Retarded Online actually serious on becoming a game?
A: I get this alot. Retarded Online certainly IS serious about becoming a game! I'm putting work into it, I'm making maps, sprites, etc... Other than RO's goal -- to be the worst MMORPG in history -- it's exactly like any other game here... Some say it's better.

Q: Is Retarded Online a waste of time?
A: To each his own, I suppose... One person can see something as a waste of time, another person can see it as fun. I enjoy making RO, and I personally don't see it as a waste of time, but rather a chance to make a game, and have lotsa fun doing it

Q: Why are you making this Useless game anyway?
A: I think it's pretty clear that this game is designed to suck, but I don't think I've gone into why I started this in the first place...
Let me answer with the following comic:

Q: How big will the game be (in mbs)?
A: It will be big... I'm converting all the MP3s into .wav, AND I'm leaving all the unsued gfx in the game, and all the maps, etc...

Q: Is there going to atleast be paperdoll?
A: Yea, sorta.. Only afew things will be paperdolled though

Q: Will RO have a sub-board?
A: Afew people have asked this question so far, so I put it in the FAG... Actually, I did request a sub board (Retarded Online xD ), but I doubt it will actually get approved (read the first reply lol)

Q: Why are you attaching a RR to almost every question?
A: RRing will be an important part of Retarded Online.

Now, on with the game!

Characters:
As you get to higher level classes, your character will get more and more retarded looking; the spells will be retarded looking, and well.. the overall game will be the most retarded thing you ever saw in your life...

Pwnt:
The Pwnt race is all err... attackish... They are like, brute force and stuff... They don't use no crap like ranged weapons... These guys run right up to you and malee(not spelled correctly, I know)... They will have one weapon though the whole game (it's stuck to them forever! Oh, and it doesn't run out of dura I guess either), and that weapon will level will them.
This one has two walking animations, so when it walks, it will cycle between the two following sprites (the races evolve to higher classes the higher lvls they get):

Friz:
No clue what's so good about the friz... I think it looks like a Ducking flower!
It can do some random stuff, it's mainly one of those skill classes (mining, stealing, photosynthesis, etc).

star:
The star (lower caps) is a pretty powerful spell-caster type race... He doesn't have much attack, but he can pretty much pwn anyone with his magic attacks.... Oh, and he can heal himself I guess too... the spells he can cast will be pretty redarded and they will look retarded too!

Line:
This race can fire ranged weapons.... Actually, instead of arrows, it will shoot those squiggly lines at it's enemy... Well, the last class(class3), it will like... shoot a lazor or something. As for the ranged weapon itself, you can only have ONE weapon per class... And you can only choose that weapon (you're stuff with it until you get to the next class!).

Enemies:
Not all the enemies won't be NOT be 100% custom.... Most of them will be the smiles and emotions from the Eclipse forums, such as:

If you end up in a Rick scroll'D map, you're pretty much already screwed, because when you leave, you'll end up in Map 4 (the main city).. BUT, if you have High-EXP, then you are screwed too, because Rick can kill you in one hit.
AND, you can't step on any red tiles, cuz you'll get warped back to the center of the map (and all the tiles are flashing, so... yea)

Update:
Results from Retarded Online first Alpha Relase
The server was open for two days (Saturday and Sunday)
Thanks to this release, I was able to fix afew script errors, and some other random bugs here and there. I was also made aware of afew new bugs too.

About 20 people registered for RO yesterday, and 6 people today. Kite somehow was able to level up to level 15 (trust me, it's abit hard), and a good amount of members were able to make it past level 5 with their sanity.

The most online at one time, was probably yesterday, when there were about 10 members playing... Fran was the only one that reported lag (nobody else did atleast).

Well, that's about it... Once I need to test for some more bugs (and give you guys a first-hand look at what I've done so far), I'll let out a Psi release.

Update 2 - DELTA RELEASE!!!
The star class completely works, and you have the ocean and wildness ALL UNLOCKED!

Simply extract the Client.zip, and run the client.exe.

After that, login, and um... Create an account (or log back in).
